The Arabian Monument

The Arabian Monument is a personal long-term project on the Middle East, started in 2007.
I am trying to find images that neither support oriental clichees nor the usual crisis-related coverage in the western media. My subjects are monuments, found objects and semi-urban landscape and architecture. Until now, the project covers images from Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt, Morocco, Turkey and Iran.
